We recently spoke with Neil Fusco, Chef and Owner of Cucina Antica, about his journey with GoldFinch and Salesforce.
A customized solution is not plug and play
We’ve built up a very successful business over the past 20 years, manufacturing and distributing pasta sauces. You can find our product in almost every major retailer. We pride ourselves in our efficiency.
We were using QuickBooks which was doing an OK job, except it didn’t work for inventory. As we evolved and grew we found we needed a solution that would both encompass inventory and provide us with real-time data if we were going to meet our goals for further growth and efficiency.
About 2 years ago we were introduced to Gold Finch by an accounting firm as the solution we could rely on. Their strength was in delivering a customized platform.
Honestly, the adoption and implementation of Goldfinch was not easy for us. We have set workflows and had an unrealistic view that this would be plug and play. Just drop it in and it would automate and streamline everything we were already doing. In the short-term, it didn’t happen but what happened next was terrific.
They persevered and exceeded our expectations
Gold Finch came in and first had to learn our system, which took some time. We did not know there would be this time of trial and error, and it was frustrating. We were unrealistic here as well.
It was difficult. We had no downtime to show them how we did things, or to learn the way they had laid it out. Nevertheless, they persevered and at the end, they exceeded our expectations.
Goldfinch is a tremendous asset
We use Gold Finch more than we ever anticipated. After much work, labor and effort, this has finally come to fruition.
We originally brought Gold Finch in to begin on-time inventory, and now it runs our supply chain, and invoicing, too, and integrates with our other systems. We are discovering new
